Since the founding of the Ly Company Foundation, the first project in which we have collaborated has been the “Tree of Hope” in the Dominican Republic.
The project took place from September 7 to October 2 in the Ágora Mall shopping center. On behalf of the Ly Company Foundation we collaborated by purchasing a corporate flower, which was hung on one of the branches of the tree structure to symbolize the monetary contribution made.
After the 7 editions that the “Tree of Hope” has under its belt, it has already supported 23 foundations and 2,255 lives.
This has been the eighth edition of this project, and it has a very special meaning, since the donation instrument (corporate flowers) has been created in the country using recycled materials by the artisan Patricio Correa, recognized in the Dominican Republic for being part of the entrepreneurs of the Ágora Central Market.
The purpose of this project has been to continue with the Comprehensive and Sociocultural Development of children and adolescents through the “LiberArte” Education, Art, Culture, Sports and Recreation program.
Thanks to the great work of this project, in 2022 approximately 350 families will benefit.
It is a great pleasure for us to have been able to collaborate with the La Merced Foundation and do our bit of solidarity for the comprehensive and sociocultural development of the youngest members of the family. We continue working to achieve our goals!
